Square Enix has now created a new sub-label in order to attract a more mature audience, applying any future releases that may fit into the 16+ or 18+ ratings. It was created on May 6th, 2010; now out and active for the Japanese rating system.
The title is appropriately called "Extreme Edges", and is fitted for Japanese markets at the moment. There is no hint to whether it will apply to Western ratings of Square Enix games or not.
Activision games also fall under this new label as well.

If you're one of the lucky ones that is. It's PC only right now, but I'm gonna go ahead and guess they're gonna try and get the PS3 in there too at some point. If you didn't get in right now and wanted to, they'll probably open it up later on.

September 22 for the collector's edition; September 30 for the regular. The collector's edition gets you an exclusive item, a making of DVD, and an art book. Not a bad deal (especially the week of extra access). Both editions get a month free too.
