Default Re: Killed Over a Video Game

I don't think they should blame the games for these crimes at all! Clearly there is something mentally wrong with these kids, I don't mean in a bad way, just that simply if you are desperate enough to kill someone you love over a disagreement, its just sad

I do think the one about the Romanian boy had something to do with him being adopted though... well, in the way that the people weren't his real parents, so he may not have had a very close relationship with them someone who had been born to their parents... but then it goes on in the one about Daniel Petric and says he was a Momma's boy, and ironically she was the one he killed.

Idk, I prolly shouldn't be looking at this so psychologically, but it just does not make sense to say that a game in itself caused a person who can think for themselves to commit such acts of horror

You know you are right about that some people are mentally ill. and you and all of us should look at this in a psychologically.

When we want something really bad and we stumble upon an obsticale our minds starts to think about the logical ways to get pass it. and one of the logical ways is to remove that obsticale. if we couldn't remove it. then we go to a deeper way to remove something which is breaking through or in other word destroying it. that is exactly what happened with Daniel and the Romanian boy.

It's really sad, you know, how indeed how severe family disputes can turn out. I think parents underestimate how their fighting can psychologically affect their kids, especially if their kids are constantly being denied to something or being cut down all of the time.

I think parents don't see how screwed up things might get, even if they're only doing something like banning use of a kid's favorite toy or pastime.

I'm not saying that these killings are the fault of the parents, no no. I'm just merely stating how much an addiction can drive certain people to the edge, and it always just seems to be over a silly little family dispute.

All you have to do is throw in a little psychological instability in the mix, and what you get is a horrible overcompensation of a family dispute. Really, families affect each other individually more than we think, eh? Too bad it had to be over a video game, though....it's really horrible. The whole thing is.
